Free App Design Inspiration: 48K+ Designs & Real App Screens

The Pixlpin home page: a dark sidebar with categories and search, beside a grid of colorful designs including motion, illustration, 3D and type.

Designers and developers shouldn't pay a subscription to see how other apps work. So we made it FREE. Pixlpin is a free design inspiration library with 48,000+ designs and real app screens, curated from the internet. As of November 2026 it shows 117 apps screen by screen (100 iPhone apps and 17 web apps), more than 11,000 user flows, and thousands of websites, landing pages, motion pieces, logos and 3D works. Every design names the person or studio who made it.

Why Pixlpin is free

Before you design a paywall, you want to see twenty real ones. Before you build an onboarding flow, you want to watch how strong apps handle it, one screen at a time. Looking at real products is how most good interface work starts.

The large collections of real app screens sit behind monthly subscriptions. Students, freelancers, small teams and founders building a first product often go without, and they are the people who would learn the most from them.

We think that reference material should be open. Pixlpin is built to be paid for by clearly marked sponsor spots, never by the people who use the library.

Real app screens, screen by screen

An app store listing shows three or four screens. Pixlpin shows the rest: the empty states, the permission prompts, the error messages, the account settings and the small success screens that make an app feel finished. The average app on Pixlpin has more than 350 screens.

Each app page groups its screens by type and lists its flows in order. Apps are sorted by industry, so a fintech team can study fintech apps and a health startup can study health apps. A Mobile and Web switch moves between iPhone apps and web apps, and shows both versions of a product when it has them.

Personal details never appear. Phone numbers, email addresses and test accounts that show up on screens are blurred, and every screen is checked again before it is published.

What 100 iPhone apps show about onboarding and paywalls

Because every screen is filed by type, the library can answer questions about how apps are built. We counted the 100 iPhone apps on Pixlpin on 1 November 2026.

How many of 100 popular iPhone apps on Pixlpin have each screen

Welcome and get started96 of 100290+ screens

Onboarding is longer than most people expect. The 106 onboarding flows on Pixlpin, from 97 of those apps, average 16 steps. The shortest has 3 and the longest has 41, and 86 of the 106 run to 10 steps or more.

Paywalls often arrive early. 23 of the 106 onboarding flows, a little more than 1 in 5, show a subscription or paywall screen before onboarding ends. You can step through all of them under Onboarding flows.

User flows, step by step

A single screen tells you how something looks. A flow tells you how it works. Pixlpin holds more than 11,000 flows with over 55,000 steps, filed under 81 flow types, and 327 of them include a screen recording.

Websites, landing pages, motion, logos and 3D

Apps are half of the library. The other half is the work designers bookmark every day, sorted into 6 main categories and 150 subcategories and tagged with more than 470 tags.

Sites holds 2,100+ websites, including 1,700+ landing pages. Motion holds 3,100+ animations, among them 2,300+ micro interactions, 1,200+ scroll animations and 1,100+ hover effects. Graphic covers branding, logos, app icons and 3D renders. Styles are tagged as well, with 1,700+ dark mode designs and more than 2,000 minimal ones.

More than 4,300 entries are videos. They play only while they are on screen, and a still picture shows instead when a device asks for reduced motion or less data.

Search that forgives typos

People type fast, so search does not ask for perfect spelling. "Dashbord" finds dashboards, and "log in" finds login screens. Results start to appear as you type, and app, brand and creator names are recognized.

Any search can be narrowed to Mobile or Web, or to one category. Every design has a "more like this" row of related work below it. Press "/" anywhere to search and "?" to see all keyboard shortcuts. For browsing without typing, the Site Map lists every screen type, flow, UI element, industry, topic, tag and app on one page.

Save designs into collections

With a free account you can save any design or app screen and sort what you find into collections, say one per client or one per feature you are working on. Your collections are there the next time you sign in. Create a free account.

Every creator is credited

More than 2,900 creators are named on their work, and 97% of designs on Pixlpin link back to the original source, so the people who made the work get the visit. Studios and designers with a larger body of work get their own creator page.

Any creator can ask for a correction or a removal through Report. Requests are reviewed within 72 hours, and a removed design cannot be added again. The details are on the Copyright page.

Who uses Pixlpin

Product and UX designers use it to compare dozens of real versions of a screen before they open their design tool. Developers use the flows to see how a finished feature behaves, step by step, before they write it. Founders study how leading products in their market handle signup, pricing and onboarding without paying for a research tool.

Product managers bring real examples into reviews. Marketing and brand teams pull landing pages, ads, logos and motion for campaigns. Students and new designers learn from thousands of shipped products at no cost.

How new designs arrive

Pixlpin grows every day. About 160 designs were added in the last week of October 2026, and new apps join the Apps section as they are added. We choose where to look, review what comes in and remove what does not meet the bar. For a short summary of the strongest new work, once a month at most, join the Newsletter.

More mobile and web apps are coming soon, and Code, Skills and Jobs sections are on the way. Everything that exists today stays free.
